Of all the questions have been addressed to me, there is one I found difficult to answer. Simple. But critical. "What is your degree program?" I constantly cut the conversation short by replying "Tesl." but it is far from the truth. I actually am doing Language Studies, English for Professional Communication (Business).
It's so disheartening to see the readable reflexes. That is why I don't simply ask others' degree programs, scared that they will be tendering the same question before I successfully dashing away from them.
Before I got into this program, I had one leg tied at the degree of finance, another at foundation of Tesl. For fear of the unknown, I chose Tesl. After finished a year in foundation, I failed to qualify in the Tesl degree program's preferences. Frustrated, I chose this program. After a few months, I was offered to join IPGM in Tesl program. Again, for fear of the unknown threats, I turned down the offer, cost a week silence from my parents.
I may be taking silly sounded degree program, not so much cool like degree in law, medics, engineering, architecture, accountancy, but I scored great grade in Maths and science subjects in SPM.

For I believe " when there is a will, there is a way"
*I'm approaching to the last semester of my degree program, I'll wear proud faces onto my parents' someday.
